Juicy Beef & Pork Burgers

INGREDIENTS

For the Patties:
300g ground beef 🥩
300g ground pork 🐖
1/2 small onion, finely grated
2 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional, for depth)
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup breadcrumbs (or almond flour for keto)
1 egg (to bind the patties)

For the Burger Build:
4-6 burger buns 🍔
4-6 slices cheese (cheddar, gouda, or Swiss) 🧀
6 slices bacon, cooked crispy 🥓
1 tomato, sliced 🍅
1 cup lettuce or arugula 🥬
1/2 red onion, sliced into rings
Pickles (optional, for a tangy crunch) 🥒

For the Sauce:
1/4 cup mayo
1 tbsp BBQ sauce
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp hot sauce (optional for heat)

STEP 1

Make the Patties:
In a large bowl, mix ground beef, ground pork, grated onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, spices, breadcrumbs, and egg.
Form into 4-6 burger patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
Press a small indent in the center of each patty (this helps them cook evenly).

STEP 2

Cook the Patties:


🔥 Grill Method:

Heat grill to medium-high heat.
Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side, flipping only once.
In the last minute, place cheese on top and cover the grill to melt.


🔥 Pan-Sear Method:

Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add a little oil.
Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side, adding cheese in the last minute.

STEP 3

Toast the Buns & Prepare the Sauce:
Toast the burger buns lightly for extra texture.
In a small bowl, mix mayo, BBQ sauce, mustard, and hot sauce for the perfect burger sauce.

STEP 4

Build the Ultimate Burger:
1️⃣ Spread the sauce on the bottom bun.
2️⃣ Add lettuce, then the cheesy beef & pork patty.
3️⃣ Top with crispy bacon, tomato, red onion, and pickles.
4️⃣ Add the top bun and press slightly.
