Sweet braai dessert with pork

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 Pork cutlets
  • Tamaletjie
  • Butter
  • Brown sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Pinch of sea salt

METHOD

  • Season the pork cutlets lightly with salt.
  • Braai over medium coals until juicy and golden.
  • In a small pan, melt together:
  • tamaletjie, butter, brown sugar, and a touch of cinnamon until thick and glossy.
  • Brush the glaze generously over the pork cutlets during the final minutes on the braai, allowing it to caramelise slightly over the flames.
  • Finish with a tiny pinch of sea salt for balance.
